The CuPID / GeM data migration is entering the final stages of testing. To ensure that we capture and resolve all remaining data migration issues CuPID will remain in read only mode for a few more days.

JISC Procureweb and @UK will be running a series of supplier demonstrations on GeM

CuPID has now been set to 'Read Only' as part of the final stages of the GeM development. This is to enable us to carry out the final migration of the contract data into the new, easier to use, GeM Contracts Repository.

Staff from JISC Procureweb, @UK and HEFCE will on hand at COUP 2011 to tell you all about GeM. This year COUP is being held at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, on the 6th – 8th September 2011.

As part of the GeM development CuPID will be set to "Read Only" from 5pm on Thursday 28th July.

We are pleased to announce that @UKplc (www.ukplc.net ) has been awarded the contract for the supply of GeM, which comprises a contracts database, catalogue repository and an e-marketplace for use only with a procurement card.

The development of the new GeM eMarket is well underway with HEIs, FECs and the sector’s Purchasing Consortia starting ßeta testing (piloting) of the eMarket and contracts database in June.
